A Weekend of Whimsies-Woodworking

On Saturday, November 5th & Sunday, November 6th at 1 pm try your hand at making a whimsy creation at the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts.

Have the opportunity to create your very own old-fashioned homemade toy, inspired by the whimsical animal toys of Ken Olson. Participants will make sculptures of animals, real or imaginary, using an assortment of wooden pieces, letting the different shapes inspire their creations. After assembly, participants will also have the chance to paint and decorate their sculptures.

Saturday, November 5th workshop is open to children and their families and Sunday, November 6th workshop is open to teens and adults.
