The Work of Play
On Tuesday, February 26th during Regular Hours, the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts will open the new exhibit The Work of Play.
This exhibit explores the multi-layered connections between leisure activities and the trades they helped to support. For example, musical instrument makers made their living producing instruments used for entertainment at various social gatherings. The exhibit will focus on the topics of
Toys and Games, Print Culture, Music, Fashion and Taverns. Don't miss what is sure to be a fun experience for all!
This
exhibit will remain open until August 2013. Throughout
the exhibit’s duration, various public programs will take
