Kids’ Club, Here’s Looking at You! Wednesday, March 3rd 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Children will make their own set of wacky glasses. Participants are encouraged to bring in a pair of old glasses to be donated to New Eyes for the Needy. Open to children 6-11 years old, Kids’ Club is a bi-weekly after-school activity program. Space is limited. Pre-registration required. Call 973-377-2982 x12. Kids’ Club, Spring Holidays Thursday, March 18th 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Pysanky Workshop, Saturday, March 27th 2-5 PM
Learn the ancient art of Ukrainian egg decorating called Pysanky with artists Odarka Stockert & Marie Salthouse. Participants will get a hands-on experience using the unique techniques needed to create these colorful masterpieces. Open to ages 6 & up. Pre-registration is required by March 20th, call 973-377-2982 x14. Admission is $15 for Members & $20 for Non-members (includes all supplies).

Stuffed Animal Sleepover, Wednesday, March 31st 4 - 5 PM - Thursday, April 1st Regular Hours
Bring your favorite stuffed animal or doll for a sleepover on Tuesday, March 31st. Enjoy a snack and story time with your toy and then tuck them in to spend the night at the Museum. Come back on Wednesday, April 1st between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm to pick up your stuffed animal, make a craft and find out what mischief they have gotten into during the night! Appropriate for children 2-6 years old. Spinning Workshop, Thursday, April 22nd & 29th 6 PM - 8 PM
Join skilled spinner Vivian C.R. James as she leads a two day, hands-on workshop in the art of spinnng wool into yarn. Learn how to use a drop spindle and create a skein of yarn to take home. The Lenape or Delaware Indians, Sunday, May 2nd 2 PM
Meet John T. Kraft as he examines the Lenape Indian way of life in New Jersey with a slide-illustrated lecture, which includes folklore, prehistoric artifacts, traditional clothing, arts and crafts, musical instruments and weapons. This program is funded by the Horizons Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Space is limited. Be Our Guest, Sunday, May 16th Noon-5 PM
You are invited to visit more than a dozen historic sites and museums throughout Morris County FREE of charge on “Be Our Guest” Day. In celebration of National Tourism Week, the sites are opening their doors and waiving their usual admission fees, although guests are encouraged to contribute a non-perishable food item for donation to the local Food Pantry in lieu of the normal admission fee. Field Trips & Outreaches
Our popular education programs focus on how people lived and worked in the 18th and 19th centuries. Meeting New Jersey's Core Curriculum Content Standards, children get a hands-on lesson about history.

Senior Citizen Programs, Adult Groups & Outreaches
The Museum offers a variety of tours and programs for senior citizens or adult groups. Each program provides demonstrations and discussions. Optional crafts are also available. Scout Programs

Preschool & Young Children's Groups
The Museum has a number of programs perfect of young children. Mothers, babysitters and mother’s helpers are encouraged to book a program that will entertain their little one in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Programs can be booked for groups of 5-10, so bring friends, neighbors or fellow club members with their children for a nice afternoon at the Museum.
